City of Belfast International Rose Garden

The City of Belfast International Rose Garden is part of Sir Thomas and Lady Dixon Park

It contains more than 45,000 blooms every summer and other highlights include:

• trial and display beds of cluster and large flowered, miniature, shrub and climbing roses
• a historical section tracing the history of the rose
• an Irish heritage garden featuring the best roses from award-winning local breeders
• a Princess Diana memorial garden.

Rose Week

Every July, the garden hosts Rose Week, a hugely popular celebration of trial roses.
