Undergrad and graduate training

College and university undergraduates study to obtain a degree or diploma in arts, social sciences, law or medicine. Third level education enhances your employment prospects. Even with a good degree, most graduates take further study or professional training before taking up employment.

Socrates Erasmus and the Business Education Initiative (BEI) are study programmes for undergraduates which include studying for a full academic term or year in Europe or USA.

Each college and university runs a careers guidance service to advise undergraduates on training, work and study opportunities. Post graduates are entitled to use the service for two years after leaving university.
