Apprenticeships

When you complete Training for Success, you can begin an apprentice with an employer. There are apprenticeships in technical and professional jobs, where you are paid by an employer and learn on the job. You also complete training courses so that you have a recognised qualification for the job.

ApprenticeshipsNI arranges apprenticeships, matching employees with employers. An apprenticeship lasts for two years. DELNI pays for the apprentice’s training and the employer pays the apprentice a weekly wages.

An employer might also be entitled to a DELNI incentive between £500-£1500 if the apprentice successfully completes the apprenticeship.
